I'm originally from Chicago and I always had a passion for video games. I graduated from Benton Harbor High School in 2005 with a major in Arts & Communications. In 2010 I received my Bachelor Degree of Science in Game Art & Design from the Art Institute of California- Los Angeles. Now in my life I can be part of the magic of creating next-gen games.
As an 3D Artist/Programmer for games, I must have standard art & tech skills. My responsibilities include the use of 3D packages; such as Maya and similar commercial and proprietary software to create high-quality 3D art assets that fulfill the requirements of the project's functional, art and technical specifications. Experience in real-time 3D modeling and lighting using Maya or 3D Studio Max, as demonstrated in my strong portfolio. Plus I must know how to import 3D meshes into game engines such as UDK, Unity, Cryengine, and etc. On top of that I have to be familiar with programming languages such as MEL, Python, C++, and C#. Which is also vital for understanding game development , algorithms, and data structures.
